The 600 foot long sandy beach with wide open views across the lake is the main attraction at Ellacoya. There are rest room facilities with showers on site as well as an area for picnicking. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.

Ellacoya has a campground area with 37 sites for RV’s (no tents) with dump stations. The sites are available by reservation only at a fee of $47 per night.

The park is a good place for your canoe or kayak, and a boat ramp is available.

Ellacoya State Park is on route 11 in Gilford, between Weirs Beach and Alton Bay. It’s a popular spot and it’s best to arrive early on weekends or holidays to ensure you will be able to get in.
